Levi's Denim / Aztec Wool Jacket

I seam ripped out the middle rear panel and sewed the aztec panel onto it, then attempted to sew it back in place. The rolled seams faced towards the outside of the jacket on the sides, so I reversed them and made them face inwards (to cover up the wool with the rolled edge like the top and bottom edges)

The aztec panel was supposed to be sewn back in place and match up with the rest of the jacket perfectly, but the denim kept slipping on the wool so the bottom did not match up and had to have a black denim panel (donated from my jeans, I guess they're getting patched or turned into cutoffs) added. I really need a walking foot machine or presser foot.
