Why Third Place?
"In sociology, the third place refers to the social surroundings that are separate from the two usual social environments of home ("first place") and the workplace ("second place")." (source)
Like a community center or a library. This is an online community for all projects involving sewing.
What Can I Do Here?
There's projects front and center. Projects can have photos and lots of info, including history. Projects and everything on the site can be public or private.
You can also keep a journal of notes. I add stuff in here most days - photos of stuff or notes I might want to search for later or whatever.
And there's a tool library, where you can add tools such as sewing machines, then associate them with projects. Useful for reference.
Feel free to join and start tracking/sharing your threaded projects or check out some projects.
