Third Place Threads is a community site where people can browse sewing projects and add their own if they want.
Features
Projects
Projects allow you to keep track of what you sew, including various stages (maybe before and after if you're altering clothing, or construction photos and the finished product when making a backpack), photos, tools used, etc. Projects be private or public.
Or maybe you're just here to browse projects - that's fine too. There are lots of powerful tools to search and browse, and we try to keep the site clean and fast so it's a good experience.
Journal
To keep notes, technical questions, document and/or share small things, etc. Posts are private by default but can be public if you want to share. Photos encouraged.
Tool Library
Keep track of your tools and what projects they're used in. Like projects and journal posts, everything can be public or private.
Tools could be sewing machines used, fabrics, etc. It's flexible because everyone sews and tracks things a bit differently.
